Did you just say "Ho"????

I always knew you were a racist. This has been forwarded to the Revs.
Jackson and Sharpton.

Seriously, I always enjoyed his smooth voice coupled with gentle
Hawaiian music. He was fantastic.

A few years back I posted here wondering why he never sought any kind
of political office, a la Roy Acuff and Jimmie Davis, who were both
also singers with strong ties to their native states.

You can find numerous stories from people who visited Hawaii and saw
him walking around the club, they'd tell Don they enjoyed his show and
he'd sit down at the table and chat with them for a half hour or so. A
buddy of mine was on his honeymoon, Don sat down at the table for 20
minutes, found out it was their honeymoon and a bottle of champagne
arrived with his compliments.

Stories like this are numerous. He was a class act. I regret I never
got to see him perform. God bless his soul.
