I remember Hop Sing when I watched reruns of Bonanza. I just didn't
consider Hop Sing to be much of a major character. He didn't even seem
like a supporting character -- just a guy who appeared in a scene every
few episodes.
Pat Morita's role on Happy Days was bigger. Pat's character also spoke
better English.
