at night - or hell, in the middle of the day, in the "Predominantly
Minority" part of any major city and I believe you'll find your
answer. Of course, you may not live long enough to reflect on it,

Ah, that's too funny. I used to tutor at Cabrini-Green (a "scary" Chicago
housing project) and would often be there until 9 PM and not once was I ever
molested or made to feel threatened. The one time I was mugged was in a
predominately well-to-do neighborhood (hey, where would you go to mug
people?).
