Suspect Sought In Sexual Assault And Robbery
Area Two Detectives Seek Public's Help

(STNG) CHICAGO Chicago Police are looking for a man who sexually
assaulted and robbed a woman in the Gresham District.

The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. on June 24, in the 8000 block of
South Maryland Ave. when the offender grabbed the victim from behind as
she was walking and forced her into a rear basement stairwell, according
to a press release from Area Two Detectives.

The offender is described as a 20 to 30-year-old black male, about
6-feet tall and 200 -250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket
with red and white trim, per the release.
