....A former paid consultant of CNN who attended the meeting, who
received an advance copy of Ervin's soon-to-be-released book, and
happens to be Jewish, boasted that he was instrumental in getting the
Jewish-American anchor of CNN's "The Situation Room (TSR)", (Wolf
Blitzer) to fire Ervin as a TSR consultant. Rumor has it that the
African-American wife of former SecDef (and Jewish-American) Bill
Cohen participated in discussions about removing Ervin from CNN's
payroll. (Former SecDef Cohen remains a regular think-piece
contributor to Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room" midday and
early-evening follies...)

WH and RNC money is unconfirmed but reported from sources to have been
offered to Jesse Jackson to publicly criticize Ervin at any and every
opportunity. (While operating as a Bush Administration talking-head,
Ervin criticized Jackson on a number of occasions.)

MSNBC is said to be in discussions with Ervin's agents to pick him up
on an exclusive contract if his book shows immediate sales success...
but no African-American organization has yet taken Ervin under its
protective wing because he has played an Uncle Tim role far too long
to now claim to have been a liberal mole with stronger allegiance to
our Constitution than to the agency who paid him for the moment...
