I know all this - but I believe you're wrong on the origin of the image
- I think this was first publsihed (and possibly funded by the BBC).

That's in part a fair comment - I do find his rants less annoying than
the white racist crowd. In my defence, that was the first post of his I
bothered to read, and having read more, I've chosen to ignore his
babble. I don't see myself as PC - I don't even like PC. I prefer
people who write what they think rather than hide behind what is ruled
"correct". I've met enough "liberal" racists to know that stopping
people from airing their views doesn't stop people thinking them.

I've seen racism from both sides, and sometimes been at the receiving
end, so don't think that I "accept" anti-white racism. I have at least
a couple of black friends who don't generally choose white people as
friends but make an exception in my case "because I'm different". Ever
heard that line before? I choose to compromise and maintain these
friendships, but I fight my corner if I ever hear white people
dismissed out of hand.

My best friend is a Jamaican who thinks like I do, and accepts anyone
who will accept him. It's people like us who bridge the gap between
races so that more small-minded people - of either race - can follow.

What was wrong with Riverman? I thought he was an admitted white man
who wrote a lot of good posts.
