As much as I would like to trust your situation,
as unfortunate as it may be - but how do I, and
the other people know you're not just another
Scam Artist?

God blesses those who are willing to work towards
the outcome. Sending an e-mail requesting
money be sent to you (in a public newgroup forum)
doesn't seem too legit. Creat a legal trust fund with
a bank, and get a friend to help you start an
actual fundraiser.
