Thanks. While not top ten by US News calc, they are top 15. We're
more concerned with a good fit for him, rather than going pyramid
climbing. I've been at a number of places, as a student and as a
post-doctoral researcher, and I know how any place can be good or bad
for someone--especially depending on the field and on the people that
the student comes in contact with.
As to the exam, in the past year or two they changed the AP Comp Sci
exam from C++ to Java-based.
