It sounds to me as if your problem is that you haven't found something you
are really interested in doing. I'd say that's what you have to address. You
might want to consider going to a good career counsellor who can help you
identify the kinds of things you like to do, and then assemble them into a
bigger picture that helps identify a few possible career paths. Having done
that, you can explore the fields in question to see a) if you really are
interested in the kinds of jobs they offer, and b) what credentials you need
to enter the field(s). Have you thought about advertising, for example? It's
not uncommon for people in the social sciences to go into the
planning/buying/research/account exec side.
