science and Gibson's cult

I don't remember the name of the cult that Mel Gibson belongs to, so I'll
just refer to it as Gibson's cult. I have a couple of questions about it.
First, when I lived in Waltham, MA, I would regularly find on doorsteps in
my neighborhood, including my doorstep, a certain thin newspaper folded in
half along its midriff and then folded over and over again along verticle
lines so as to produce a compact object about an inch wide and a foot high.
I think the title had a name involving, I think, the angel Michael. It had
articles about and pictures of medieval popes. That was about 20 years ago.
In retrospect, I have been wondering whether this might have been a
publication of Gibson's cult. At the time, I had heard that it was based
in Canada but I never heard any evidence for that.
Second, one hears a certain amount about the antisemitic and holocaust
denying theories of this cult, but I was wondering whether they have any
issues about science. For example, would it be unusual for someone in this
cult to think that what is presented as science is a bunch of lies that
people have been telling for centuries? Any details about that, if it is
one indeed of their issues, would be welcome.
