explains various practical examples related to time series in general.

I do not really understand what you are looking for. This is a book
very good for practitioner. If want to know how to analyse data (I mean
methods not specific tool!) then this book is a choice. It contains both
theoretical introduction and examples how to build models using R. The
number of examples is quite large.
You could also try "Introduction to Time Series and Forecasting" by
P. Brockweel and R. Davis. It is also quite good but the first one
is much better.
