Dear friends,
I first used the generalized linear model to analyze my data, but now
i found another model: generalized linear mixed model ,which i'm not
familiar. Could anybody tell me the main difference between them and
give me some suggestions on which model i should use.

My response variable: count data;
My independent variables: four continual variables and two categoracal
variables;
My aim is to predict the count data with independent variables.

There isn'y enough info in the Q. Mixed models in this context usually
means fixed and random effects in the same model. A generalized linear
model normally treats all predictors as fixed with only the response
random. If you don't know whether the effects should fixed on random
you'd probably need to read more about the distinction as a first step.
