Bob,
Thanks for the reply.
I want to make it clear to other readers that the Bob you thanked
posted by the name "Anon" -- one of the worst abusers of statistics
in the sci.stat.* newsgroups.
Bob-Anon is regularly helpful and informative.
I wonder which is the higher count - the number of people
who have asked Reef Fish-Bob to mind his manners or leave,
or the dozen or more (Not all the same ones) whom he has insulted?
Reef Fish is weak in verbal comprehension.
Reef Fish-Bob Ling varies between posting fine mini-lectures
from his career in teaching, and then some other crap that he
periodically unloads, including hostile comments to (or about)
other posters. (Most often, about me.) Getting on his permanent
***-list derives from, it seems, pressing Reef Fish Bob on
his logical inconsistencies or his too-frequent errors in citations.
In the sci.stat.* newsgroups, is this the 4th person he has
belittled in the last two weeks?
