Component Factor Analysis- What to do next?

Hello all:
I have a social survey that I am in the analysis face off. I am using
JMP but can use SAS. But my question is probably generic than
application specific. All of my dependent variables had a few likert
type items (attitude measurements) associated with them. Now I have
formed factors from the likert items (rotated factors using with
component factor analysis method). Theoretically the columns that I
have now in JMP represent the factors' scores of all individuals. But
what do I do with them now. How do I use these factors/factor scores to
find correlation between these and the independent variables (indep.
variables are either binary or categorical). Someone advised me to use
multiple correlation/multiple regression, but how? Any JMP specific
tips would be much appreciated. Any online step-by-step tutorial will
be appreciated too.
Any help will be appreciated very much!
Best regards,
Arsalan
