question concerning STATISTICA 6 software

Hi, I'm a PhD student in biology.
I work with STATISTICA6 at the present time.
I just wanna know if someone can explain me the term "intercept" which
I can put in option with my two-way ANOVA test? What does it change in
the test?
In fact, I've tried with and without this option and the obtained
results were different.
