Mars photographs. What do they really show?

Hi.

I found this video on YouTube that alleges the possibility that
certain land features found on Mars are artificial structures made by
some sort of extra-terrestrial life. Of course, I would not accept
such a claim face up as truth, but I was curious as to what the photos
really show. They provided an analysis of the "face" photograph taken
by NASA (both ones, the original and the one that seems to look like a
mountain), and I was curious about what you think of the analysis. I
did not feel I had enough knowledge to judge any of the information in
the video reliably or to form a reasonable opinion about what the
photos "really" show, and was curious if someone more knowledgable
about this stuff would provide a reasonable, logical analysis of the
photos and analyses presented, so I could get some idea of what's
actually going on with this stuff. I thought some of the features may
have still be natural phenomena, but like I said, I was not
knowledgable enough, so I really could not say with certainty (not, of
course, to imply that automatically translates to a belief of "OMG!
PROOF!!! SMOKING GUN!!! WOO-HOOO!!! ALIENS on MARS!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!"
It would be foolish to just believe something like that is true with
any good, hard evidence of it.). The photos were interesting, let's
just leave it at that. (Note: "interesting". That does not mean I
think aliens were involved, it just means the stuff is something that
makes one want to ask questions.)
