Oh, yes, by the way everyone.... whad'ya all think about Al Gore getting
the Nobel Prize? I thought you were supposed to work your *** off, get
tons of papers in peer-reviewed journals, actually discover something
important, etc. Um...yeah... I think its nice to raise awareness of the
climate problem, but ... um... a Nobel Prize? I didn't read all that much
but was it for that movie he made? I think they are worth more than a $1
mil now in cool cash, so he can buy a lot of carbon credits wrt his heated
swimming pool, and how many of you all knew he is a director on the BoDs
of at least five corporations including Apple (surely getting $100,000
from each). Plus anything else,

Al Gore got the Nobel Peace Prize, which seems to be notorious for
being very politicized. For example, jow the hell did somebody like
Yassar Arafat manage to get the Nobel Peace Prize (in 1994)?
