Boycottthat company is my response.

Circuit City will be closing stores within two years because of this
really dumb decision. Their new hires will not consider them as a
viable long term employer so they will most likely not give a ***
about being on time, making mistakes, theft, or helping their
customers in the manner in which they were assisted before. The public
relations message alone will be a nightmare. To blatanly lower wages
of $11-$14./hr workers because they're making too much money is
borderline ridicules. My advice is to buy Best Buy stock. This means
of reducing payroll overhead is barely tolerated with unionized auto
workers who are at least making a livable wage. Don't look for others
to follow suit. This is an opportunity for the competitors to
capitilize on.
