Re: lighten up by anecdote

I just read an anecdote. I will translate it in English.

One guy was interviewed for the position of a deputy director. He was
given a questionnaire to complete. One of the questions was: "Suppose,
you are an Elf. You are being pursued by Orks. You have a bow and
arrows, and you are a good shooter. The problem is that you have only 5
arrows, and there are 10 Orks. What will you do ?"

The guy answered that if he did that, then the nurses would come into
the psychatric clinic and put the orks into the robes, and would take
the bow and arrows from him. Apparently, this was a rare answer, and
the director himself answered: "I give up drinking".

Well, I say -- interesting questions for an interview. How would you
guys manage such a question at the interview ? Would you say to the
interviewer to f..k off ?

..

I've had interviews with questions like that and I would give what I would consider to be a logical answer. I don't know what is supposed to be accomplished by asking someone something like that.
