A business consultant I knew who KNEW that what she did was
really just
a big schtick said "The key to business success is to be 6
months ahead
of everyone else in using the buzz-words."
NOel
I beat em at that...I invented my own buzz words or
debunk...to throw on top of their buzz words,
for instance... I started by praising what I was about to
cut the balls off of......'TQM is a real advance, however if
the life cycle of the product is going to be 90 days, that can
backfire as with ____ (if I hated their guts Id use an example
from one of their own projects)____ they were still building
the fab and filling out TQM paper work as the japanese came
with a better device.... any management approach has to be
'context sensitive'... that sort of approach used to work
well.
today these dont know what 'context' means. So they ask if I
am a team player. I tell them that depends ... wrong answer.
.....but then I save myself unlimited grief that way.
