Thanks everyone for the advice ( i guess). Admitedly it is very
depressing but nontheless it did help.

Here is another question: everyone claims that obtaining a PhD is a bad
idea but then so is having an MD. How is it that a person can continue
within the science field without having to get royally screwed over?
