I *think* that the courts can, and frequently do, blow off any and all debts
with a stroke of the pen. They are supposed to take the concerns of debtors
into consideration but the intensity of such concern is a matter of how high
on the $ food chain the debtor happens to be.
Just how much political juice does the UAW have at this point in US history?
