So, how many of you guys would like to see SRC get moderated?

I would.

I am against it. Too much of negative experience with the moderated
forums. It might be justified for comp.lang.c++.moderated but not for
this one.

many people post to score points eg; in another post, Art mentioned
that he wanted to win the debate with me. So, if you moderate -you will
eliminate lots of junk posts.

As frustrating as it is some use can be drawn out of it. For one you
can understand the state of mind and what you can expect. Which is
always useful. I enjoy it at work every day. Two years ago we got a new
boss of Indian decent. To be fare to him he turns out to be
you must mean descent and fair.

sufficiently nice guy especially after his predecessor who was a
complete trash. One peculiarity though is that in very short time he
stopped putting anybody except Indians to the interview panels. He
invites for the interview only Indians. For two years only Indians got

that may not be because of tribal mentality. Have you observed that it
almost always costs more to hire a white/american than an Indian? It is
possible that mgmt has instructed him to hire Indians and that he has
been hired in the first place to facilitate that. I have come across
references to americans as greedy pigs who demand too much for their
services.

hired. It is not that I advice to work in this place but still ... This
as well as the avalanche of the recent postings demonstrates that
mentally and socially they are at the tribe level of development.

Yes -Indians are clanny and they do not go for inter-racial marriages
as many other ethnic groups do in the US. OTOH, I know of 2nd
generation Indians who dye their hair blonde and there are some techies
in silicon valley who have married whites. But these are exceptions to
the rule.

Knowledge of Java does not change that. It is nice to know. And
besides, the biggest American contribution to the post WWII civilizing
of Germany was free and open discussion of how they got into that ***.
So, consider yourself on the mission of fighting Indian and other tribalism.

I doubt if you can change personalities or the mentality of a nation.
India is what it is -despite 5000 yrs of disruptive forces (like Islam,
British imperialism etc..). No matter how
hi-tech the country goes, from within it will still be the same.

Just observe how Kamal has improved since his first
postings. At the beginning he could not put two non-contradicting
sentences side by side. And now he manages sometimes produce the whole
passage of relatively meaningful words.

maybe I started communicating in a better way to people who are not my
type. I mean, at one pt you wrote that I write something new everytime
like a Jazz player -so I started framing my sentences in such a way
that they don't SEEM TO bring about a change in topic.
If you cannot comprehend my statements esp wrt offshoring -you may
want to go through some econ literature or at least look at the
evidence that I point to.
