Summers wacking: personality or policy?

Looks like Harvard will linger in the 19th century a little longer-
Its controversial president Lawrence Summers was forced to resign.
He had been trying to modernize the core curriculumn and departments.
One doesnt need to take a single scienceor math course for a Harvard
degree.
However he wasnt the most diplomatic guy- someone in that position
should avoid making negative comments about any people or groups.
