I usually do not watch TV, but yesterday I caught a glimpse and it was
a material about the Korean prof. I was interested, and watched it to
the end. I noticed the following funny things: he was led by a group of
young (grad student-age) people under his hands actively pulling him
which gave an impression he was sick or imprisoned. The young people
were very emotional; they covered the TV camera with hands and many of
them cried. Then the guy made a speech for the cameras and he looked
very calm and self-restrained all the while the young people were
turning their faces away and copiously crying. Such a behaviour would
not normally happen in the US, I believe...
