I am not sure about "all materials", but for a certain polymer there
certainly is a correlation between crystallinity and modulus & strength:
typically, the more crystalline a polymer is, the stiiffer and stronger it
gets. If you modify a polymer to improve modulus and strength, by grafting
side chains etc., you would be talking about a different resin ...
