Of the 2 messages I see today [April 7, 2007], only the first:
collection of links and references on Polywell fusion, is of any
repute.

Let me dispose of the 2nd message first: this snippet shows the
conspiracy theory lack of historical knowledge. It is a very bigoted
statement, and it caries no reason, or knowledge. This conspiracy
garbage has been floating around since World War 2. The skin heads and
Neonatzis, are the source of the ideas that the 3rd Rich, had these
sciences, and advances; history does not support this.

I am pleased to see the 1st message. This idea is scientific. I would
like to find more about the 'Polywell fusion'. I have a few questions:
In this phrase, 'Polywell' suggests to me, that you are considering
the system as a site in a 3-D crystal lattice. My physical background
was not in solid state physics.

Next I must ask, "Have you concidered Quantum Tunneling and Quantum
Entanglement with nuclei in close proximity to these wells?" The
nuclear changes do not need to be large to constitute Fusion. In the
Stellar Nuclear Genesis evolution (in the lighter half of the periodic
table[less than Iron], each stage of fusion is an isotope change;
releasing neutrons and gamma. I also see that this can happen above
Iron. Above Iron, Alphas and protons, as well as neutrons and gammas
can be emitted. This is a many body problem with many sub stages in
the reaction, at the particle level.

The real theory [un]necessarily must include the machinery of the
Standard model [which unites the Electro-Weak and Strong forces], to
complete the analysis of this many body system. In the end of this
Quantum calculations, the transition probabilities will be low and
random. Bur they will be dependent on the sourounding environment.
Specifically, if you souround these poly-wells, with a neutron flux,
and/or a dense hydrogen and/or Helium gas.

This Polywell fusion, has many parts to it, good luck.

I made a direct post to the group, but after my post I found an error;
I would like to correct this error. In my 5th paragraph, the sequence,
"The real theory [un]necessarily must include the machinery of the
Standard model", should read "The real theory necessarily must include
the machinery of the Standard model". This 'un' was inserted by my
spelling checker. I must reeducate this spelling checker.
