Yes, the magnetic field does move and/or rotate with
the magnet.
Consider for example a square cross-section magnetic bar
and you can see easily that if the corner of the field rotates
then the middle area has to do the same thing ( no matter
if it is a perfectly round area or not ).
Of course , the question posted in the thread was a bit
more restrictive than the one in the title of the thread ( which
was of more interest for me).

Just because the field changes does not mean that the field rotates. If
you were an intelligent ant sitting under such a square magnet. How
could you tell whether the magnetic field rotates from local
measurements that do not see the corners of the square?
