Try it and see. A hose with a spray nozzle that makes fairly uniform-
in-size
drops will do, on a sunny day. Note the relationship between the
position of the sun,
the position of your head, and where you see the centre of the rainbow
to be.
Note especially where the shadow of your head is.
As you will see, it basically looks the same, expect that from above,
you
can often see a complete circle, since the ground doesn't get in the
way.
Why? Think about a mirrored ball, like a shiny Christmas tree
decoration.
Look at it outdoors on a sunny day, and you can see the reflection of
the sun.
Does the reflection of the sun look different if you are above the
mirrored ball?
There's a related phenomenon called "glory", which you can see with
fogs
seen from above from mountains, or dewdrops on the ground.
