So what, the coal from them is either loaded onto conveyor belts
or coal tubs hauled by locomotives using the loaders and muckers
in the links. ALL are electrically driven. Before the electrically
powered cutters and haulers were available they used
manual cutting and pit ponys to haul the coal away.
I ask again what vehicles do you expect to find in a mine ?
