Instead of reading the crap luminaries such as PakistanPal, that fake

/Definitely/ an improvement, and time well spent.

Over 400 clips - 3.93 gig of warships - all to the background music of
the Warsaw symphony orchestra playing Jim Morrison.  I can just sit
and watch and watch.  Everything from the monitor Roberts to the
latest yanqui flattops!

Don't know why I didn't do this years ago!

You wonder, I wonder, if there is a commercial application or would
the obtaining of "permission" slips be overbearing? We used to dream
of "Victory at Sea" at OCS because that was either the background
music or the video we were subjected to.

I doubt it - was done for my own pleasure without thought of gain. As
to obtaining permissions, I go weak at the knees even thinking of
digging out all those DVDs again let alone getting permissions ....
Lot of the older stuff is Imperial War Museum stuff - and I believe in
the public domain so long as origin is acknowledged. But no - this is
my private naval mastabatorium - and one which I will continuously be
adding new clips to as and when (if) I obtain them! Lot came from
doccies - but others as diverse as James Bond and romantic comedies -
wonderful clip of a Blackwood frigate from the "Little Hut" for
example!
