The knife and the sword were obsolete by the development of the firearm.
But they are both still very, very deadly..
I suspect several bayonet instructors would contest that view. I was
thinking the ZSU-1 ammo might not be made anymore or perhaps a product
of those Afghan craftsmen who turned out the letter perfect Enfields
in the 20s.
IIRC the Russian have weapons that use the cartidge in service still..
