Sniper

Signting as a method was always a fairly instructor lead thing. A
rifle was a certain machine to project a bullet. So we ask the
instructor how.

Many have written, but few advise as a method. Fairly general
concepts are encounter and here I will detail an actual method.

1- lift the weapon as an area.

A rasing to scope would always allow a person to be seen. So lifting
was a concern. A basic general direction of firing range would allow
a rifle to sit in this general direction. As time happens an area
would be scoped. A battelfield event unfolds. Would the man scope
without a battlefield in mind? No a lone enemy would be a kind of
battle filed. A scoping for counter rifleman would be the certain
area.

Raising for a large number would be another class of range. So know
the area as an intended outcome, one or many. Sitting and waiting for
the large battle while counter-rifleman appears as a rule was a
mistake. Know the likely-hood of counter fire chance.

2- scope at the range

Scoping is actually looking clearly for targets. A multitude means
selection of the kind and appearance desired. An officer over the
lone soldiers appears. Also scope the range edges as a return fire is
likely from hidden counter-rifleman positions. Always look as a basic
hunter and form images as a whole. Look at each place of the scope
view for pieces of targets. A foot may be all that is seen when time
appears. A the firing is planned place a shoot first and react to
changes. Do not look continually at the missing target. Continue to
scope. For large target sets a placement plan would allow a finality
to a range. All targets would recieve a shot. Never begin and not
try to end a range. A fifteen minute time span before a scope finds a
rifleman appears an expectation. So use the time correctly. You are
at risk you hidden position becomes knowable apon firing, so hit fast
and then exercise a range retreat. A retreat means stopping to scope
a new range.

3- A scoping with proper equipment allows a perfect control. A six to
sixteen power fast level control allows a fast view change and so a
projectile would appear to never approach. A correct scope and rifle
allow uncomon range distance making a low risk sometimes. Sixteen
power for shooting and six as a low view appeared necessary to scope
for likely new targets. Lever control power is demanded. As a rule
never high power the scope until a shot or set of targets close
together appears.

4- A windage control was to be actually utilized. A wind estimate
would allow all shots to approach the desired aim point. Estimate
wind by both local wind and effect on flags and trees far away. A
person would always require a wind judgement. A less than 4 mph level
allows a zero windage concern. A 4 to 10mph level requires the first
notch setting. A 10 to 14 mph the second, and for 14 to a larger
setting a likelhood of mistaken wind becomes a larger factor. Do you
risk a battlefield in a huge wind effect should be asked. Can you
wait? Wind as a long range effect is an acquired judgement. Learn
the methods of correct setting by practice. Looking at grass means
understadning the difference of heights of wind change. Looking at
flags would require a knowldge of flag behavior. Learn folliage and
the appearance of wind. Bending branches would cause the wind as an
estimated level to be a certain value.

A branch two inchs in diameter also bending means a level of about 10
mph. A click stop control settable by feel was also the equipment
necessity.

5- A scene as a possible target becomes a time event. Looking and
knowing the selection has occured already is a squence to learn.
Select then look to understand the timing of motion. Learn to judge
target movement likelyhood. A man to climb into a vehicle is a man to
move soon. A selection has already occured never alter the shot after
selection. Motion as a rule becomes a fight. An expected motion
allows shot placment to the right or left as required. A person
walking to the field left would demand a foot lead. A running target
demands a five foot lead. Motion as expectation only occurs with
certain selected. A chart place allows an expectation of crouch to
standing. A rifleman position can be expected to stay motionless. A
chart reader can cause the firing shot to miss. So expect to followup
fire for certain targets. A motion free local allow a quick move to
the next target. Do not hesitate to move to the next target when
conditions allow.

6- See. A shot fired always demands a degree of personal flinching
control. Practice so all shots are flinch free. See the shot proceed
to the target. A person evenly firing can alter the appearance by
dropping the scope before the fired shot would be seen or heard.
Scope dropping is used for defense. Decide on single shot versus many
shot long before range establishment. A retreat path would be
required for many shots. A single shot has a low likelyhood of
detection. Know a battle plan first then range establish.

7- A scope would allow a man to range whereas a common rifleman
without benefit of long range has no defense except hiding in
terrain. So a unit attack would always be the outcome. A small attack
unit will form to approach unless counter-riflemen are present. So
select a location to defend against the attacking unit. A terrain
selected correctly considers the followup attack. A clear area to
traverse allows a unit attacker to be a nonissue.

8- Correct place in terrain for the battle plan of a larger attack on
the approaching soldiers. A larger battle plan may require a person
to attack a unit. A place as a battle then allow a certain degree of
confusion to protect the lone rifleman. A timing of firing in
relation to the larger battle allows a lone rifleman a place in events
to unfold. Know this plan. Expecting assistance from a following unit
allows a person many continue attacks. A fifteen minute period
between shots on a larger battlefield is about the most to expect
unless a retreat was always in the battle plan.

9- A counter rifleman has a control as attacker also. Many scoping or
binocular looking attacker may appear. Attack as a person who is to
control. Stop scopers first. Stop binocular onlookers first.
Onlookers are a sign of intention attack as opposed to lone onlooker
attempts. A consider long range unit would be the first to be
attacked. See long range scopes in the view as intention to defend in
a long range fashion.

10- A scope when raised becomes the battlefield. A scope when lowered
means a close in view to defend. Learn to alter these views. Raise
and low and scout the area if allowed. Leave the sight and scount out
to defend against unseen units. A fifteen minute period between shots
allows this attention to defenses. Climb out of the tree and defend.
A tree selected allows long range onlooks to hardly see ssuch an
activity. A terrain to hide the tree trunk appears the most
desirable.

11- A safe person as a rule would never approach. A risk taking unit
memeber will attack only. Intention to risk move would allow a person
to scope terrain looking for the closing unit. Non risk taking units
move slowly. Fast moving means well likely to appear to ....

A person has only to read the first installment. I will soon finsh.
