Good question. Why, indeed?

Again, a good question. Why, indeed?

We don't. That battle cry was extant at the time the Maine blew up.
We don't do things based on 'remembering the Maine' now.

Because tourists have money.

No kidding. Not only that, but they seem to have nothing to do with
the thesis.

Vinnie apparently tends to forget things without legal codification of
some kind. The rest of us can remember the Armenian genocide just
fine without and act of Congress.

I have no problem with Congress on this except for the TIMING they chose;it
indicates sabotage more than any other reason for doing this AT THIS TIME.
It also coincides with comments made by various DemocRATs about hindering
Bush in any and every way.The DemocRATS harm America and US soldiers when
they do this sort of thing.

That undoubtedly explains the Republicans who voted "for"

27 - 21 total

19 dem + 8 rep for

8 dem + 13 rep against

That's not exactly a party-line result, whatever Fox says.

(The jews on the committee went 7-1 for, shall we call it a
jewish conspiracy?)

You need to read more news and fewer opinion pieces.
