whom'. Wouldn't normally complain about anyone's grammar, but

Since you are an "editist," can you account for the unexplained disappearance
of the subjunctive mood from the English used by news readers and others on
the Beeb? I find it quite startling when they replace it with the indicative;
it sounds as if the copy is written by illiterates.
