One rule I live by...
Always consider any munitions as live and capable of exploding,
no matter what the age or exposure to water. the older they are
the more unstable.
OK, but what happens to the ammo after being left under the sea bed.
Do they explode on their own accord or do they just deteriorate to
atoms?
powder grains from old naval shells is washing up on the beaches of
western Oahu, its been underwater for over 50 years, it still burns
like it was produced yesterday.
