Very nice piece of software for those inclined towards astronomy. Runs

I've been using it for a while.

I tend to think of Stellarium as a bit of a toy - for Unix/Linux
Xephem is a far better propostition and for Windows Carte du Ciele
cannot be beaten. Both freebies.

I got enthused again just now seeing as how Jupiter is coming in very
nicely
ahead of the moon.

Dunno what Venus is doing out your way, but we have in the early
evening Venus in conjunction with Saturn blazing away in the West, and
the Moon and Jupiter in the East.

I'd be very disturbed to hear that the directions are different...

Apparently Mars and Saturn are also to be seen if you know what to look for.

But the latitudes do make viewing slightly different. Saturn is
currently next to Venus - making a glorius display, at least it did
last night! Mars not visible until much later when the Venus/Saturn
pair have set. In fact Mars will not rise until Jupiter is close to
setting. Around 3 in the morning here.
