A Short Guide To Iraq
Hey look, the "War and Navy Departments" put out this little handbook
(PDF) to help the troops in Iraq ... in 1943,

Pretty decent post. Thank you.
But why do you cheapen and diminish it with a smear?
If someone makes an accusation about your grandfather,
is that a valid attack on you?

The "smear" is from the original source. It's Washington's favorite
lowest level blog The Wonkette.

I know I am a flawed person. However I strive to accept
responsibility for what I do, and what I post.
I try to be reasonably accurate, and try to avoid or
delete "smears", especially one that is 2 generations removed.
(example - recent topic I started re: Joseph Kennedy,
I never went near trying to develop 'errors' of father
to touch on his children).

I accept that you are intelligent and have moral character.
Your above answer (basicly, "I'm covered, I just reposted it."),
seems weak. You are better than that.

And that modern twist, connected with old document,
calls the proported accuracy of it, into question.



I've known Jack for some time. He often posts with tongue planted firmly in
cheek. IOW, life is too short to take too much stuff seriously.
