If you read "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" it is clear that Lawrence knew
the outlines of what was planned even before Sykes and Picot sat down
to hammer out the details.

In "A Peace to End all Peace" the author makes the claim that the
mideast borders today are the scars from the collision of the region
with Winston Churchill.
