I used to have a list of stuff from one of the VX-31 pilots that
listed all the things he had to get done in the course of a month. It
was more than a month's worth of hours and included only minimal
flight time to stay current.

I think what you guys are calling "Weapons Instructor" I'm used to
hearing referred to as SME (Subject Matter Expert). Every squadron
has these guys, specialized in various thing.
