I am doing a fire safety review of the over night "sleep on a

long story short I think its a disaster waiting to happen. I have lots
of photos but no "first hand" accounts of an overnight stay. I
wondered if anyone in the group had done one of these overnight stays.

A "fire safety review" of a slumber party!?!?
What a load of fun you must be.
Ever wonder why you are never invited to parties?

Im sorry but 300 children 4 decks down in an old battleship is not a
"slumber party"

you need help. they've been doing it on the u.s.s massachusetts for 25
years and no fires or fatalities yet.

you are probably one of those assholes who wants every kid to wear a helmet
whenever they leave the house. i was a kid in the 60s,well before safety
nazies like you existed and not oe kid i knew ever got killed or suffered
head injuries or lit themselves on fire.

nobody have any fun! because somebody might get hurt!.

:-)
Most of us posting in this group have slept aboard many different types
of warship, got paid to do it and no-one -ever- made sure the ship was
in a safe condition for all junior rates in ships company to indulge.
One of my messes had as a bulkhead the "A" Turrets 3.7 magazine...
Ask some other ratings here vince you old sea dog. and don't forget to
fence the gangways and break out the cotton wool
