It might be, or then again it might not - there's too much uncertainty
about it! :)
ITYM it is simultaneously both as good and not as good as the hype
indicates. Quantum encryption is both very effective and not very useful
since it only works for messages reminding you to get a new bulb for the
fridge where schroedinger's catfood is stored.
But surely once you open the fridge, whether or not the light is
working will become immaterial since the nature of the cat food will be
changed due to it being observed. The questions then remain as to
whether the food's nature changes back again once the fridge door
closes and whether the light goes off. Personally, I was more concerned
with terms such as Cat being decrypted as Schroedinger.
A couple of years ago I saw a plaque on a building in Dusseldorf which said
"Heisenberg might have stayed here.".
Well it amused me, anyway.
