perhaps an optical store could adjust the smaller frames so that they
sit further away from your face. have you tried that?
I want plastic frames (the kind without nose pads). I hate how nose
pads get grungy. I clean my plastic frame glasses many times a day.
This is one reason why the epoxy repair on my old pair is beginning to
weaken.
Please can I get a link to a seller of LARGE style plastic frames?
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

Try the big chain stores. They are likely to have yesteryear frames at big
discounts. You can buy such frames for approximately $10, and you can bring
it to your chosen optician for setting lenses.
