You know, it isn't too late to correct your mistake by taking the next
exit. Here it comes, now. Hope you didn't miss it.

Dr G

I just need to become more and more and skillful at presenting the
science and less and less distracted by the abuse. Why abuse me?

I do not understand it either.
OD are the winners now.
Over there in the real word everything
Happens their way now.
They have regulations.
They make prescriptions.
But winners should be generous
What I do't understand if they are the winners what makes DrG so
angry?

Lena

What's your problem? Do you have a question regarding vision or
visual science? Or, did you just come here because you have some kind
of personal axe to grind with the vision professions? If you're not
going to do anything but hurl insults at us, you may as well get
lost. Either that, or take over the group and name it something other
than sci.med.vision and the rest of us will get lost.- Hide quoted text -

Otis and Lena have MyopiaFree2 forum, as well as i-see.
Andrew and Quasimodo (with all his twins) have i-blindness, as well as
i-see.
There are numerous other Internet groups dedicated to "alternative
medicine" and "second opinions", which will welcome their spirit and
ideas.

Why do they insist to post here???
Do they really believe they can convince and convert anybody?
Or are they here just to stir the pot, get attention and distroy?

Some of us occassionally read their i-see, i-don't-see, or i-am-myopia-
free2, but we don't take over their sites. We let them be.

I am for tollerance and freedom. I support freedom of thought for me
and for all. I think people should have the right to be as gullible
and stupid as they wish.

I have given up arguing with religious believers of all kinds
(although sometimes I fail and fall into such silly arguments). I
know that such arguments are pointless, as you cannot argue with
beliefs. Facts, science and common sense will not do.

I have never seen an atheist coming to a church, preaching against
religion and disturbing those who want to worship and serve their gods
according to their beliefs. But somehow religious fanatics feel it's
their mission and right to preach their beliefs to the infidels in
order to persuade them to accept their dogmas. They use various
methods of seduction -- from candies, to miracle faith healing, to
eternal life in heaven, and offer sweet temptations to the weak of
mind, logic, knowledge or common sense.

And sometimes, when none of this works, they fly stolen aircrafts into
sky scrapers.

On the Internet they are called Trolls.

Please Trolls, go away. Nobody wants you here. There is ample room
for you in the Wide World Web, please leave this space to us, the
"close minded" ones. Do you really want the rest of us to leave?

Live and let live.
