This is a little off topic, but not very. You should be able to get a lens gage that measures curvature approximately.
I am experimenting with some lenses for photographic purposes. I
ordered the shapes (DCX and PCV) in focal lengths I need to accomplish
overall what I need.
They are basically scientific surplus. Supplier can provide f.l. and
diameter only.
I am wondering if a 1-hour lab or someone else in the industry can
give me better details like radius of curvature of each surface and
maybe index of refraction (type of glass). They're often BK7, but it
would be nice to get decent approximations so I can put them into a
'light' version of some optics software (OSLO LT).
Otherwise it's just experimental.
Thanks for humoring me.

Try Emdmund Scientific. To measure index, you can get Cargile index matching
liquids.
