Do you need to do this in sci.med.vision? Does anybody here want you to? I'm
pretty sure I've never seen any ugly chemical expressions here, but I could be
wrong. There's always the FORTRAN convention for superscripts (A**2), but I
don't remember how subscripts were handled. Maybe they just weren't needed.

Throughout recorded history, usenet has been a text-only medium. While
technology provides alternatives, the purists among us see them as crutches
for people whose writing can't stand by itself.

Repeat: DON'T USE HTML FOR POSTING. EVER.
