We don't call it "efficiency". We call it "efficacy" which means "Does it
work?")

We usually estimate efficacy by measuring the average change in a treated
group and comparing it to the average change in another group not receiving
treatment. The two groups must be carefully matched - the same age, gender
mix, ethnicity.

When we compare treated and untreated groups, we find treatment with lenses
is not effective.

Perhaps you have made similar comparisons, with different results. Please
tell us how you know your treatment works.
