Yes. Check who is the supplier and what time of monitor is used in the
C-arm. Normally it would be a HR ( high resolution ) monitor with
interleaved scanning to avoid flicker. ( not normal 525 lines but 625
or higher). Generally these signals are not NTSC or PAL (!). They are
normal video signals with higher scanlines. But if the system has a
DICOM out ( DICOM EXport license) thats the best way to grab digital
image since you get diagnostic quality image where you can do
measurements , zoom ,pan , annotation etc,,, Good luck

I am trying to build a system that uses fluoroscopy images taken by a
C-arm inside the operating room. I wish to use a frame grabber to
import the video stream into a PC, but I understand that the video
stream resolution is not always normal.
Does anyone know what video output resolution I can expect?
Can anyone recommend a frame grabber card that is suitable for these
purposes?
Thankx in advance,

Best to check with the vendor to determine if it is NTSC or DICOM, etc.
The vendor will usually suggest a digital A/D frame grabber card for
the C-Arm.
