Riches are not priced in gold nor in numbers of beautiful girls nor in the
number of deaths that you claim in a day. Riches count as act of love,
kindness, healing the sick, helping poor to riches and service to others.
Then you will die in the knowlege that your life was the best you could
offer.
You do not gain life by killing, you only gain regret, death will get you,
even if you live ten thousand years or even ten million the angel of death
will come for you and those you love.
When death comes it always a suprise and it is terrifying, painful and sick
and you cannot fight the angel of death he always wins, you get a reprieve
but if you are evil your death will hurt more than if the life you led has
been the best you could do.
You cannot stave off the angel of death by praying or making offerings to
your god, nor will doing good works save you nor stealing empires.
Half of those that have ever lived are dead and the rest soon will be.
Soon that black angel will come for me and you. Possibly not today, he did
not come yesterday but there is always tomorrow.
He came for Mum the other day and she shouted and cried out in fear and pain
but she was repreived that time and lives on for a little time longer.
We will all be gone quite soon so make lives of our friends better and
spread a little happiness around with nice things done. Like giving away
your money, giving shelter to someone worse off than you, there is always
someone. And not to be jealous of the people who are richer and don't plead
charity.
Do not laugh or jeer at the sick, you might be there soon, do not stone
those already in the gutter, you may trip yourself tomorrow.
And do not vilify the deformed or those with missing parts or those who
cannot walk, the angel may take you some day and a blade of the footpad my
sear your face or cut off your arm.
Thats my philosophy.
