Thaks for this information; it's a little peculiar that the diagnosis
is a scar, since the laser is supposed to vaporize tissues, leaving no
opportunity for scarring...but the blood clotting seems to remain
unexplained.
At any rate, I wish you good luck on your repeat attempt...

I just went through a PVP on 23 January of last year, so I'm afraid I
cannot provide any years-after experience; however, you stated that
your results were "semi-satisfactory". Can you expand a bit on this?
Robert.
I had the so called then 'miraculus' PVP in Jan 2005.
Initial results were satisfactory but as time went by
the frequency, urgency and sream were getting worst.
I was at a point where I was getting up about four times a night.
My bladder was so sleepy and it did not want to void.
Then I discovered a trick that cut the night time bathroom visits to
just one! I am getting up, turn on the lights walk around for a
couple
of minutes and then I go the bathroom and pee standing up. I used to
sit on the toilet before.
It looks to me that the bladder empties almost entirely. Then I go
back to bed and do not have to pee for the rest of night.
In day time I am OK, I can take long walks without looking for the
bushes. I could not do this before PVP.
Any way about the blood clots, I visited my Urologist who scoped me
and found a scar from the PVP and a narrow opening in my prostate. He
is sure that he can fix it with a laser procedure.
I am scheduled for April 1 and I will post then.
Andy
